Epic rides: Hit the trails with fellow riders & experience the stoke of community. From spicy to mild, or just a quick lap, we've got a group ride for you! Rides led by TAMBA Volunteers

Rides leave from the Tahoe XC Center at 10:30am. See Below for ride routes.

Tasty grub & drinks: Enjoy local food & beverages from Sierra Surf Club and South Lake Brewing Company

Demo bikes: Throw a leg over the latest from our demo fleet. First Come First Serve. Must be registered guest to participate.

Good vibes & giving back: Come for the trails, stay for the swag, and grab raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes from our incredible sponsors.

Arrive and get set up for a group ride led by TAMBA Volunteers.

Each route will be led by an experienced TAMBA Volunteer, aside from the ebike / Black Diamond route which will be self-led.

Don't miss out on an incredible day with 5 different group rides for all ability levels followed up with food and drink!

Rides are self led, meaning there will be a group leader to help lead out each ride as well as a sweep to ensure no one gets left behind due to a mechanical. Some separation between the group may occur during the ride and you are responsible for familiarizing yourself with the trails.

Chiller (beginner) ride takes-off.

Chiller Route- We will offer two separate chiller options:

Flow: Side hustle: Access road climb to east tiger summit-> Side hustle ->4000 Road (west side Road)

Tech: Atlas: Connector-> Master link-> Inside Passage-> Atlas-> NWT Bypass

Show up early at 9am to help NWTA give back to the trails!

Trail work will take place from 9am-12pm with plenty of time for riding and hanging afterwards.

All sessions with MTB Coach Robbie are first come first serve. One session per hour, and 15 participants per session. Suggested $20 donation to NWTA per session.

Tahoe Area Mountain Bike Association

The Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association (TAMBA) is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization that builds, maintains, and advocates for multi-use trails in Tahoe while providing education to all trail users and hosting fun community events.

TAMBA works in partnership with land managers such as the U.S. Forest Service, Nevada State Parks, California State Parks, and the City of South Lake Tahoe. In addition, TAMBA helps maintain more than 100 miles of trail per year.

Chris and Nicole are the co-founders of South Lake Brewing Company. Chris discovered homebrewing in college on the Central Coast and started working in the craft beer industry, while Nicole brought her background in business and a shared passion for beer and the outdoors. Inspired by their mountain hometown of South Lake Tahoe, they moved back in 2015 to turn their dream of opening a brewery into reality. In 2017, they opened SLBC — a community-driven brewery and taproom that continues to grow with the help of their dedicated team, friends, and local support.

Women's ride presented by the Donut Squad!

A community built by a group of local 'sladyies' who met through mountain bike amateur enduro racing and a love for a really good times on bikes.

They shared a collective passion for playing bikes, tackling new challenges, and meeting new, interesting humans and yet felt something was missing-an inclusive and easily accessible community for all.

Thus, Donut Squad was born. A community built to create inclusive spaces that welcome all humans (specifically women-identifying and non-binary riders) interested in riding bikes, new adventures, giving back to their community and creating new connections

Trek Trails at Virginia Canyon

Virginia Canyon Mountain Park in Idaho Springs features a growing 28-mile trail system designed for mountain biking, with nearly 12 miles completed as of fall 2024 including purpose built downhill trails like Drop Shaft and Hopper, built for intermediate to expert riders and accessed via a nicely graded climbing trail. The park offers a mix of flow and technical riding.

The project, led by the Colorado Mountain Bike Association (COMBA) with support from the Trek Foundation and other partners, also includes plans for the Mighty Argo Cable Car—a 1.2-mile gondola providing lift access to the trail system, expected to open in spring 2026.
